072010_LLH_mviA young man from Williams Lake is resting and healing at his mother's home in Kamloops after a serious crash near Lac La Hache on July 18, 2010.

Rhonda Ned, the man's mother advised that he had been transported to and then held in the 100 Mile hospital over night following the accident. He experienced some memory loss, so was taken to Kamloops early the following morning for a CT scan, which turned out to be clear. "Other than some lacerations on his head, sore muscles, whiplash and a little road rash, he is doing well," Rhonda advised. "He was pretty shocked to see the photos of the accident scene on your website today, and realize just how serious the accident was."

"It is a good thing he is as strong and athletic as he is. It is still going to take many weeks to heal but, it could have been so much worse."

"I would sincerely like to thank the people who stopped to help my son, as well as the ambulance attendants," said Rhonda Ned.

The 18 year old had just graduated from Columneetza in June and was supposed to start an exciting new job on July 19, but has had to ask his new employer to allow him a couple of weeks to heal properly now.
