100 Mile House RCMP responded to 53 complaints and calls for service. Some highlights are below.

On November 6, 100 Mile House RCMP stopped the driver of a blue Cavalier for failing to stop at a stop sign on Birch Avenue in 100 Mile House. The driver displayed symptoms of having consumed liquor. An approved screening device was administered at the location. The result was a fail. The driver met the criteria and was subsequently issued a 90 day Immediate Roadside Driving Prohibition and the vehicle was impounded for 30 days.

On November 6, 100 Mile House RCMP received a report that a Super B tandem logging trailer with BC licenses 58758C and 58759C was taken sometime in October 2011 from the industrial area on Exceter Road in 100 Mile House. Anyone having information about this investigation is asked to call the 100 Mile House RCMP or call Crime Stoppers.

100 Mile House Traffic Services stopped 5 vehicles for excessive speeding over the past week at various locations on Highway 97. The speeds ranged from 47 to 55 km/h over the posted speed limit. All of these incidents resulted in the vehicles being impounded for seven days.

CRIME STOPPERS TIP OF THE WEEK

On November 1, 100 Mile House RCMP responded of a break, enter and theft from the 100 Mile House & District Hospital. Sometime overnight, unknown culprits had entered the Mill Site Lodge and had stolen property from one of the residents. Some of the property was recovered a short distance away outside.
