Bike stolen from youth after being accosted

On July 19 at approximately 4:15pm, a young boy was riding his bicycle on the road near the community of Forest Grove. The youth indicated that he was approached by an unknown male who demanded his bike. The male produced a length of pipe from under his sweatshirt and struck the boy and took the bicycle, heading east on Canim Hendrix Lake Road. The youth was not injured from being struck.
Police are looking for a male described as being:
of darker complexion
clean shaven
medium build
approximately 5 foot 8 inches tall
wearing a plain black hooded sweatshirt, jeans and black sneakers with a reflective stripe
The bicycle is described as being a green single speed with some scratches and a 100 Mile Bike Shop sticker.
