100 Mile House RCMP responded to 62 complaints and calls for service over the last week. Some highlights are below.

On January 19th, 100 Mile House Traffic Services stopped a vehicle that was being operated in an erratic manner. It was determined the driver of the vehicle was impaired by alcohol. The driver was returned to the detachment where two breath samples were obtained over .08 mg%. Charges of Impaired Driving and Driving over the legal limit are being recommended to the Crown against a 41 year old male resident of 100 Mile House.

On January 22nd, 100 Mile House RCMP responded to a complaint that a male appeared to be injured and lying on the sidewalk in the 400 block of Birch Ave. An ambulance attended to the location and transported the male to hospital with non-life threatening injuries. Further investigation revealed that the male had been assaulted at a house party in the 500 block of Birch Avenue Liquor was believed to be a factor in this incident. The investigation is continuing.

On January 24th, 100 Mile House RCMP along with the 108 and 100 Mile Fire Departments responded to a structure fire at the 108 Mile Resort. Flames had engulfed the golf course and restaurant building. The cause of the fire has not been determined and the scene is being maintained until Fire Investigators and the Office of the Fire Commissioner have completed their investigation. Police are requesting that anyone having photographs or video of this fire to contact the 100 Mile House Detachment at (250) 395- 2456 and speak to Constable Manseau.

On January 24th, 100 Mile House RCMP responded to a complaint of a domestic assault. Investigation revealed that a female assaulted a male after an incident inside the residence. The female suspect was arrested and released on conditions. Charges of assault are being recommended to Crown against a 21 year old female resident of 100 Mile House. The investigation is continuing.
