The paving of a five kilometre stretch of West Sheridan Road will improve the safety and reliability of the road for motorists, Cariboo-Chilcotin MLA Donna Barnett announced today.
“This project has been a priority for area residents and recreational users, and will make West Sheridan Road safer and more reliable,” says Barnett. “An improved road will also benefit our local economy by facilitating a potential increase in mountain pine beetle logging. Along with the upgrade to West Sheriden Road, I will continue to work with Transportation Minister Shirley Bond to explore options for improvements to other roads in our region including Eagle Creek Road.”
