Two Peter Skene Ogden graduates are given bursaries by Williams Lake & District Credit Union

In keeping with its commitment to support its members and their communities, Williams Lake and District Credit Union recently presented two $1,000 bursaries to graduating students of Peter Skene Ogden Secondary School. Williams Lake and District Credit Union is pleased to acknowledge Cole Kendy and Grace Craddock.
Cole Kendy will work full-time this summer to earn money for his post-secondary education. In September, Cole will enter Simon Fraser University to complete a degree in International Business and Marketing. In addition to his studies, Cole looks forward to being involved in intramural sports and school teams, and has expressed an interest in volunteering in school activities.
Grace Craddock plans to take a year away from school as she works and saves for her post-secondary education. Future plans include attending Thompson Rivers University in January of 2012. She has expressed interest in taking biology courses, with animal biology being a strong interest. Grace's interests outside school include music and the performing arts.
Williams Lake and District Credit Union has been serving members for nearly 60 years and currently has branches in Williams Lake, 100 Mile House and Bella Coola. The Credit Union supports its communities through funding, staff expertise, and the energy and commitment of staff volunteers.
