CRD_logo_newAs of 11:30pm, August 3, 2010, the following evacuation alerts and orders are in effect in the CRD: 

EVACUATION ORDERS: 

Meldrum Complex: 

The Meldrum Complex evacuation order which previously included properties north of Till Lake, West to Stum Lake and north to Alexandria Reserves #3 and 3A was expanded today to include all properties north of Highway 20 and East of the military reserve and all residences within the military reserve.  

Place Complex 

The Place Complex evacuation order remains in effect covering the area surrounding and including Dog Creek Reserves #2 and #3. 

Pelican Complex 

The Pelican Complex evacuation order remains in effect  covering the original areas including Euchinico 17, 18 and 19 and Trout Lake Alec 16 as well as all surrounding residences. 

Bull Canyon Complex 

Previous evacuation orders in place within the Bull Canyon Complex were downgraded to evacuation alerts (see details below). 

WHAT YOU SHOULD DO IF YOU ARE WITHIN AN EVACUATION ORDER AREA:

·         You must leave the area immediately

·         Follow the travel route provided and register at The ESS Reception Centre at the Cariboo Regional District in Williams Lake, 180 Suite D, Third Avenue North

·         If you need transportation assistance from the area please advise the individual providing this notice or call 250-392-4283

·         Close all windows and doors

·         Shut off all gas and electrical appliances, other than refrigerators and freezers

·         Close gates (latch) but do not lock

·         Gather your family: take a neighbour or someone who needs help

·         Take critical items (medicine, purse, wallet, and Keys) only if they are immediately available.  Take pets in pet kennels or on leash

·         Do not use more vehicles then you have to

·         Do not use the telephone unless you need emergency service 

YOU MUST LEAVE THE AREA IMMEDIATELY
