Cariboo Book Fest
Several local authors are attending the second annual Cariboo Book Fest in 100 Mile House, at the Creekside Seniors Activity Centre this Saturday, October 23 from 10 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
Lorne Dufour, Christian Petersen and Sage Birchwater of Williams Lake, Chris Harris of 105 Mile Ranch, and Van Andruss of Lillooet will have their latest works available at the book fest which will feature several workshops, Kids Storytime for children, and an Ask-A-Writer panel.
Birchwater and Harris are two of the authors who will sit on the Ask-A-Writer panel.
Birchwater, Andruss and Dufour will facilitate the workshop Everybody Has A Story – Writing Local History and Family Memoirs.
Other workshops include Maggie De Vries with Writing For Children: From Life to Story; Laura Kelsey with Editing With Ease; and Donna Richards with The Joy of Writing Fiction – Just Do It.
