Farrier hosts final golf tournament of the season

(Photo: A little cold weather never stops these golfers from hitting the links!)

They gathered at the Marmot Ridge Golf Course, and hugged themselves to stay warm. But as soon as each player in the Farrier Pub Annual Fall Tournament picked up their golf clubs; the cold disappeared and the game was on!
A favourite tournament of the year, the annual game was played under sunny skies and afterwards the gang trooped over to the Farrier Pub for grub and suds. Prizes were awarded to each golfer and Rob Dumaresq entertained the crowd with his guitar.
Councilman Mel Torgerson had a hard time living down his summer hole-in-one, which he failed to achieve this time. Don't worry, Mel, you'll do it again!
Many thanks to Farrier Pub owners Phil and Janet Roux for organizing the tournament and also to Brenda, Jeanette and Ruth for the great food and service.

(Photo: Winners of the tournament (again!) were Larry Gardiner, Keith Meyer and Scott Judson.)
