100 Mile House has a lot of activities for seniors. From square dancing to billiards, there is no reason to be bored after retiring!
If you want to meet a bunch of really nice people and get some exercise, Canlan Ice Sports offers Senior Drop-In Curling every Wednesday at 11am and 1pm.
Get out and have some fun! Whether you are experienced, or have never touched a “broom” in your life, you are welcome at the curling rink at the South Cariboo Rec Centre. Curling's health benefits include improved balance and core strength and decreased blood pressure.
And don't forget to join in the fun as the the 100 Mile House Curling Club hosts the Charity Challenge Fun Bonspiel on November 7th, starting at 9am. Proceeds of the fun event will go to the 139 Children's Fund Raising Society.

Pete Penner has brought back the amazing wares from impoverished countries to sell at the Baptist Church, at the corner of Hwy 97 and Tatton Road. For 17 years, we have been able to not only shop, but to help bring justice and hope to Third World artisans who would otherwise be unemployed or underemployed.

The sale starts at 5pm tonight, Wednesday, and ends on Saturday, October 31st at 5pm. On Thursday and Friday, the doors will be open from 10am to 8pm.
