(TIM-BR-MART owner Mike Anderson commemorates three generations of running the popular building supply and hardware store.)
By Bev Boyle
September 19th will be remembered as a very busy day for TIM-BR-MART owners and staff as they celebrated their 35th anniversary with a good percentage of the residents in the 100 Mile House area. Said store owner Mike Anderson, “We are thrilled with the great turn-out and hope everyone is enjoying themselves as much as we are.”
The anniversary sale marks three generations of the family business. In 1974, Wally Anderson and son Kris started Lone Butte Supplies, a busy little hardware store, and from there the business moved to its current location on Exeter Road in 100 Mile. Kris's son Mike and his wife Chris, took over operating the store in July 2008.
The store is expanding and will have more stock and new products.
